ComoYoga is a wellness oriented, 200-hour yoga instructor certification program for Spanish speakers. Yoga has become so inaccessible due to the cost associated with attending a class to the point that it has become an equity issue. ComoYoga aims to certify up to eight Spanish-speaking instructors to gain a valuable job skill and be able to offer free or low-cost yoga classes to their community.
ComoYoga teacher training is taught in-person by a certified yoga instructor and holistic health practitioner. Teacher training includes a once-weekly yoga class called Las Monarcas.
Las Monarcas is a free weekly yoga and meditation class provided to all of the families who participate in any of the LCEG, Inc. programs including La Clase Mágica, Summer Family Camp or our community garden. Las Monarcas is taught by students in the ComoYoga yoga instructor certification program and provides valuable practice hours for these instructors in training. Las Monarcas meets weekly on Friday evenings at a studio in Encinitas.

LCEG, Inc. is working to develop a video curriculum so working trainees can complete coursework when they are unable to attend in-person training.
